A practical path for healing, insight, and facing life’s challenges with wisdom and confidence.
Discover how core shamanic practices support healing, self-discovery, and meaningful life change in the experiential course Shamanism and Personal Transformation, offered by Kerri Husman at Mammoth Hills for the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Through a series of guided shamanic journeys and reflective exercises, participants will learn practical techniques to connect with compassionate helping spirits and will complete the course able to apply shamanic methods for insight into personal challenges, relationships, health concerns, life purpose, and growth opportunities.
More than a single workshop, this course provides a structured process for approaching life’s questions and difficulties from a shamanic perspective. Each journey builds on the last, helping participants develop a repeatable framework for problem-solving, decision-making, and transformation. As students learn to ask effective questions, seek guidance, evaluate information, and apply spiritual insights, they begin to trust their own inner wisdom and spiritual resources more deeply.
Participants often find the true gift of the course isn’t just the answers they receive on their individual journeys, but a reliable process they can return to repeatedly. Whether facing tough decisions, relationship challenges, career questions, grief, or exploring meaning and purpose, this journey process becomes a lifelong tool for guidance, perspective, and support.
The course encourages participants to examine beliefs, assumptions, and habits that may no longer serve them. By exploring these patterns through direct spiritual experience, participants develop perspectives that promote healing, resilience, and personal empowerment. Upon completion, many report specific outcomes such as increased confidence, greater emotional balance, heightened self-awareness, and an enhanced ability to respond to life’s challenges with curiosity rather than fear.
