This online workshop will provide students with advanced FSS training the chance to review and practice the fundamental core shamanic healing methods in a session with a participant-client. Those who are beginning a shamanic healing practice, as well as seasoned practitioners seeking to increase their proficiency, can benefit from this training.

The workshop includes general parameters of a shamanic healing session and important ethical considerations. The primary shamanic healing methods will be reviewed and practiced: extraction healing, power animal retrieval, psychopomp work, and power soul retrieval.

Participants will have the opportunity to “put it all together” by applying multiple core shamanic healing methods in a solo session for another participant in the role of the client. There will be discussion, Q&A, and information exchange afterwards with other shamanic practitioners to clarify the methods and address issues that may arise during a healing session.

This experiential online training taught by FSS faculty member Kerri Husman is offered via Zoom video conferencing. Participants will see and hear each other and interact in pairs and small groups, as well as in the full circle.

All students must participate with audio and video and access the meeting through their own individual device.

Instructions for Zoom (free to individual users) and workshop access will be provided as needed. You will have access to the Zoom link in your portal and receive reminders 48 hours prior to class. You can log into your link at any time to update Zoom on your device automatically.

The course consists of 14 hours of training. Kerri may teach the workshop in four 3.5-hour sessions or in two 9-hour one-day session with longer breaks.

Completion of the entire workshop is required for credit. If you must leave early, you will need to complete the entire workshop again in the future for credit.
