SHAMANIC JOURNEY: PATHWAY TO KNOWLEDGE & POWER™ (ONLINE)
OR
BASIC WORKSHOP: THE WAY OF THE SHAMAN® (IN PERSON)
The skilled practice of shamanic divination, the process of consulting the spirits for knowledge, is an essential aspect of shamanic healing and of bringing the wisdom of the helping spirits to bear on personal, local, and global issues. This workshop offers students opportunities to practice methods for contacting their compassionate spirit helpers, particularly through the shamanic journey, and to enhance their abilities to form on-topic questions and interpret the messages received. Participants will also experience classic shamanic ways to build and nurture strong relationships with their own spirits
This experiential online training taught by FSS faculty member Kerri Husman is offered via Zoom video conferencing. Participants will see and hear each other and interact in pairs and small groups, as well as in the full circle.
All students must participate with audio and video and access the meeting through their own individual device.
Instructions for Zoom (free to individual users) and workshop access will be provided by the instructor after registration.
The course consists of 7 hours of training. Kerri may teach the workshop in two 3.5-hour sessions or in an 8-hour one-day session with longer breaks.
7 FSS Continuing Education (CE) Credits available. (Link for information on how to verify acceptance of FSS CE credits with your approval board.) Completion of the entire workshop (7 hours) is required for credit.
Member Tuition Discount. Members of the Foundation can receive $10 off tuition for this workshop. Discount will be applied during registration by logging into shamanism.org, going to the store to find the code, and entering that when you register. Not a member? Join us.
The Shamanic Journey: Pathway to Knowledge & Power is the prerequisite workshop for other online workshops offered by FSS.
The in-person Basic Workshop, The Way of the Shaman also meets the prerequisite for FSS online advanced workshops.
Please note: The Shamanic Journey online workshop does not meet the prerequisite for the FSS in-person advanced weekend workshops, as additional workshop(s) need to be added to The Shamanic Journey to count as The Basic Workshop. Otherwise, The Basic Workshop: The Way of the Shaman will still be required for the in-person workshops.
Completion of the entire workshop (7-8 hours) is required for credit. If you must leave early, you will need to complete the entire workshop again in the future for credit.
